So as it turns out I found my self at a fork in the road tonight between rationality and perception...
Here were were -- the precollege team, enroute to the movie theater to enjoy our selves a free 8 dollar movie. (A night at the museam II if you were wondering) and upon the arrival at the theater we could enter without noticing this Lambo, parked right in front of the theater like they owned the place. Now granted, there has been many a time that I have thought "oooOoooO man I want that!" yet, for some reason, living in florida you see them alot, and now I think they are over-rated, but there is still that childhood excitement factor when you see a "Rare car-- for those WOW players" or just somethign out of the ordinary that would proclaim wealth.
However, here is where I got slapped in the face, yet realized how naive I was. --- Recap, Saw nice car, didnt want, but was still astonished. --- so me and a few of the precollege R.A.'s go up to buy drinks @ concessions and this "Pack" of 12-15 year old girls were standing in front of us, when all of the sudden one of them turns around and say
"Hey, have you seen my dad's car out front?"we go back and forth a few times on this untill
I say " You mean my car?"
she says "Show me the keys"She got owned to say the least, I fill in the precollege crew on what happend, and they are all in on it, and we keep seeing them, and its a big joke all of the suddent, yet now the movie is over and we are walking out and low and behold, who do we see? The girls.... yet one of the other R.A.'s now bring it up saying, have you seen my dad's car out front? haha the look on the girls faces was priceless!!!
I stare, and say "Why are you doing this? whats the point of you doing this? does it make you feel cool? "
Not to mention, the car was now gone as they left...
funny story!! haha
